Middle East Symposium of Ergonomix® Implants (MESEI)
Defining the Future of Breast Aesthetics in the Middle East

In February 2026, Medica convened over 250 plastic surgeons and aesthetic physicians from across the Middle East for the Middle East Symposium of Ergonomix® Implants (MESEI), a two-day scientific gathering dedicated to advancing breast aesthetics through evidence-based education and regional collaboration.
The symposium reflected the growing maturity of the Middle Eastern aesthetic landscape and Medica’s long-standing commitment to elevating clinical standards through science, dialogue, and partnership.
Designed not as a conventional conference but as a platform for meaningful professional exchange, MESEI brought together the region’s medical community to define best practices for the next generation of breast aesthetics.
The scientific agenda explored key topics including ergonomic implants, advanced surface technologies, breast reconstruction strategies, and the evolving paradigm of breast tissue preservation, areas increasingly shaping clinical decision-making across the Middle East.

A defining strength of the symposium was its strong international dimension. Medica assembled a faculty of globally recognized experts who shared real-world clinical experience, long-term outcomes, and evolving surgical philosophies.
Sessions covered a broad spectrum of approaches, from direct-to-implant and two-stage reconstruction to minimally invasive platforms such as Mia Femtech™ and Preservé®, offering attendees a comprehensive and forward-looking scientific program aligned with regional practice realities.
MESEI also highlighted the importance of contextualized education, recognizing the diversity of patient profiles, anatomical considerations, and aesthetic expectations across Middle Eastern markets.
Through panel discussions, case-based debates, and interactive Q&A sessions, the symposium addressed region-specific challenges while fostering a shared vision for responsible innovation and clinical excellence.

Opening the symposium, André Daoud, CEO of Medica Group, emphasized that the initiative was rooted in long-term partnership rather than product promotion. “We held this symposium because we believe deeply in supporting our doctors beyond products,” Daoud stated. “Our commitment is to stand beside the medical community, by investing in education, bringing global expertise to the region, and creating platforms where science leads the conversation. This is how we grow together, responsibly.”
The symposium concluded with an official closure and gala dinner, marking two days of rigorous scientific exchange and professional connection. More than an event, MESEI underscored a broader movement within the Middle East, one where collaboration, education, and scientific integrity are increasingly defining the future of aesthetic medicine. As the region continues to shape its own voice in breast aesthetics, initiatives such as MESEI reaffirm Medica’s role not only as a solutions provider but, as a committed partner in advancing the field across the Middle East.
