Mubadala Bio and Abbott Collaborate to Advance Pharmaceutical Manufacturing in the UAE
Mubadala Bio and Abbott announced a strategic collaboration during the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit aimed at supporting local pharmaceutical manufacturing initiatives and contributing to the continued development of the UAE’s healthcare ecosystem.
The collaboration brings together Mubadala Bio’s local manufacturing capabilities and Abbott’s longstanding commitment to expanding access to high-quality medicines, with the shared goal of supporting healthcare delivery and advancing pharmaceutical capabilities in the UAE.
As part of the collaboration, Abbott and Bioventure Healthcare FZE, a Mubadala Bio company, signed a local manufacturing agreement focused on women’s health therapies.
The companies are exploring potential future areas of collaboration, including vaccines and biosimilars. Any future collaboration would be subject to further assessment and execution of definitive agreements.
