Sysmex signs government MOU to establish first Japanese diagnostic reagent factory in Saudi Arabia
Sysmex Healthcare Regional Headquarters announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the establishment of a diagnostic reagent factory in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as the introduction of a logistics hub for the Middle East. This significant milestone marks a new chapter in the company’s long-standing commitment to the Kingdom. It represents an additional investment in local manufacturing & logistics capabilities that will help create employment opportunities and bring advanced diagnostic products closer to the healthcare ecosystem of the region, while significantly reducing Sysmex CO₂ footprint. These initiatives will contribute to Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 & Sysmex Eco Vision 2033 goals.
Since entering the Kingdom, Sysmex has actively contributed to Saudi Arabia’s healthcare ecosystem by delivering cutting-edge diagnostic solutions aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals. These solutions enhance clinical decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and support better patient outcomes.

In addition to the manufacturing & logistics initiatives mentioned above, the MoU also covers the deployment of a platform for local talent training, which will contribute to the know-how development of healthcare professionals in the country.
