Cedars-Sinai Ranked Among Top U.S. Hospitals
Cedars-Sinai has been named to the Honor Roll for the 10th consecutive year and tied for No. 1 in California and Los Angeles in U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Hospitals 2025-26” rankings.
But the Cedars-Sinai story goes far beyond the numbers. It’s a story of impact across continents, of patients finding answers, and of a health system that meets people where they are – from Los Angeles to Mexico, Singapore to London, and beyond.
Every year, thousands of patients from over 100 countries choose Cedars-Sinai for care they can’t find somewhere else. From complex surgeries to rare diagnoses and second opinions, the Cedars-Sinai International team ensures a seamless journey for international patients – before, during, and after care.
“Many of our international patients are facing urgent or rare medical conditions,” says Dr. Heitham Hassoun, Chief Executive of Cedars-Sinai International. “We provide them with timely access to world-renowned experts and a level of personalized support that helps them feel safe and cared for throughout their journey.”
Home Away From Home
Located in Beverly Hills, Cedars-Sinai offers international patients access not only to trusted medical care but also to world-class comfort, cultural understanding, and convenience. Multilingual care teams and interpreters ensure clear communication at every stage, while dedicated support is available as they navigate their journey to Los Angeles. Spiritual and dietary needs are thoughtfully accommodated, and private concierge services offer personalized assistance throughout the stay. Patients and families can also relax and recharge in the Cedars-Sinai International Lounge – a dedicated space designed for comfort, privacy, and peace of mind.
Among the many lives touched by this level of care is Suhail, a young patient from the Gulf region who arrived at Cedars-Sinai facing life-threatening conditions. After receiving both a heart and kidney transplant, Suhail recovered with remarkable strength. “I didn’t expect to have Suhail back and even better than he was,” said his mother, Fatima Hussain. “Thanks to the hospital and doctors for giving Suhail a second chance at life.”
Clinical Excellence Across the Board
The Smidt Heart Institute leads the world in adult heart transplants, and the Samuel Oschin Cancer Center offers over 60 cancer-specific programs and access to clinical trials not widely available elsewhere. In addition, Cedars-Sinai had 11 specialties in the U.S. News & World Report hospital rankings. The specialty rankings mean Cedars-Sinai is among the top 50 hospitals in the U.S. in these specific clinical areas.
Three Cedars-Sinai specialties were ranked in the top five in the U.S.:
- Gastroenterology & GI Surgery
- Orthopedics
- Pulmonology & Lung Surgery
- Six specialties were ranked in the top
